Why is it that I'm always tempted to bake when it's too hot?Alihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16745786643511417426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-809957322264630900.post-6635024416645984232013-06-30T23:51:31.941-05:002013-06-30T23:51:31.941-05:00Hi Michelle,

He probably ate most of them as soon as he was out of site of the house!!

Some of the best recipe results are produced when you have to improvise a little on the ingredients.

I love rhubarb, although here in the UK 'rhubarb and warm custard' was always the traditional way to serve it up when I was a child ... I say when, because hubbie hates the stuff, so in the 34 years we have been married, I haven't eaten it more than a handful of times, when we have eaten out and it was on the dessert menu.

My dad used to have a massive rhubarb patch in the garden, so we seemingly had a never ending supply ... This is not quite an accurate representation of how I remember it, but it is the closest I could find.

http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/fruit-recipes/good-old-rhubarb-and-custard-with-the-best-crumbly-shortbread

Have a good week,

YvonneYvonne @ Fiction Books Reviewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14821114534056290177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-809957322264630900.post-84825649742239187002013-06-30T21:48:24.647-05:002013-06-30T21:48:24.647-05:00Both of those treats look fabulous! I need to get the ingredients and reproduce it for myself this summer!Ceceliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02249223364936344560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-809957322264630900.post-45261145076694172572013-06-30T21:08:26.453-05:002013-06-30T21:08:26.453-05:00You have me drooling!
